Mark Somerville wrote a REALLY cool Wordpress plug-in that allows you to include PHP code in your wordpress posts, which really expands the potential of what you can do with Wordpress. I highly recommend checking it out!

Hello there… I can’t figure out how to contact you on this thing, so I figured that I would give this a shot. Can you email me? I have something that I would like to ask you. Thanks a lot!

Hello! I was searching the Internet for some insight on how to include PHP inside a WordPress post and I came across your site! Regrettably, mark.scottishclimbs.com and every variant I can think of seems to be inaccessible, and I was wondering if you could tell me where to get my hands on Mark Somerville’s WP plugin that allows PHP in posts? I would very much LOVE to get my hands on it! Thanks for your time!

    Regards,
    Blake

Also, had the same issue as Blake: unable to connect to scottishclimbs.com, let alone the full link to his plug-in.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

  4. Hi David and Blake -

Hmm — I don’t know why Mark took his site down. I’ll see if I can find a way of contacting him to get permission to post his code so you can directly download it from me now that he is no longer maintaining a web presence. If it’s cool with him, I’d be happy to be the source for a copy of his plug-in to the wordpress community. Will update the article when I find out more..

  5. Mark’s site is up again, and my link to his code works, so go ahead and check it out — it’s an awesome plugin. Unfortunately, it purportedly doesn’t work with the new WordPress v1.5 yet, although someone posted in the comments a way they got it to work. Your mileage may vary if you’re using the new WordPress until (and if) Mark updates his code. Cheers!

    Hello,
Just wondering if anyone could help. I did something stupid and started my blog using a numerical archive system, and now I'd like to change it so that the post title is part of the URL for SEO reasons. Is there any Wordpress plugins that anyone knows of that could switch it without sending Googlers to invalid pages? Maybe some sort of redirector to the correct page?

    Thanks.
