Is the WYSIWYG editor available for users of the .org side of Wordpress (i.e. as a plugin)?

I was just given a wp.com blog, I had signed in to their “Invite” site a few weeks ago and was randomly chosen. Says I can send one extra invite… If you don’t yet have one, I’d gladly send the extra on to you (I assume I can give the thing to whomever I want without any negative vibes from WP?).
It’d be the least I can do for the help you’ve given here.

Hi Emily, having just come by in late November, I’m a new Wordpress user from a hosted service in Australia called edublogs.org, and Wordpress.com looks like it’s open for business for one and all now. Just thought you might like to know.
Having used Typepad as well (at http://austlit.typepad.com/cfn) I’d have to agree that if themes become widely available and the hosting is bug-free, Wordpress could be huge.
