Please get an MRI. My wife had what she thought were migraines and neck pain and vomiting and facial pain and vision issues for a couple years and it ultimately got so bad that she convinced her doctor to refer her for an MRI. She got the MRI on a Monday and we checked into the hospital on Wednesday for the removal of a tennis ball-sized brain tumor at the base of her brain on her spinal cord. That was two years ago, and she is doing fine, but please get an MRI. Any time I hear people talking about neck pain, migraines, puking and vision issues, I think of my wife and what she went through.
Please. Go do it. Now
I hoep you feel better soon. I admire your courage and love to read your blog. I am new to blogging… I just created my blog at http://www.denvermark.com. I am learning much and thnak you for your knowledge! Take care and I will keep you in my thoughts. May good health come to you soon.
I am sorry to hear about your migraines. Your blog posts have been very informative. I agree with your one point that you bring up very often, categories are a most to organize your blogs. I wish blogger had it. I have an extra machine here at home, so I’m thinking of setting it up with Linux and host my own blog with WordPress.
My wife suffers from migraines too, so I know the effects. Not knowing you, I don’t know what you knowledge is on this topic. Are you aware that there are food triggers for migraines? Things like red dye in food and especially monosodiumglutamate (MSG). Lack of sleep and that time of the month are also things that lead to migraines.
Thanks!
Francois
Wow, sorry to hear that! I hope you feel better soon. My mum used to have really bad migraines, so I know how bad they can be. I should think looking at a screen won;t help much, but I hope you can
Sorry to hear about the severe migraines. Do you where glasses or contacts? Having your vision checked may be a good place to start especially if you are on the computer that much.
Ditto the comments above on the MRI. In these enlightened times it’s best to eliminate all other causes first. Take care, I hope you are feeling better soon.
I hope you start feeling better! I really love your blog posts, and have learned so much! So thanks!!
migraines – it’s my regular misfortune. I see now you’re ok – I glad for you.
