No kidding! It’s been driving me crazy going to Typepad and trying to check my stats. Almost every other day they have a problem. Glad I found your blog off Darren’s site. I was thinking of starting a blog just like yours, but now I don’t have to. I can read yours.
I’m thinking of moving off typepad to using something like moveable type, but I haven’t made the leap yet. Or perhaps I’ll use Wordpress. Thanks for updating all of us new bloggers on what’s working (or not) for you.
I’m sick of typepad myself. At first, I thought I made a well thought out decision. But now I’m seeing how typepad is the not so popular option. Thankfully I did secure a URL and if I wanted to I could re-route my visitors.
I’m just wondering how possible is it to export my archives to another user. And would you know the more graceful and better option for me to switch to?
Typepad stats are crappy, why does anybody use them? There are plenty of stat packages out there, many free. Statcounter iives you far more than Typepad, free for your last 100 hits, cheap thereafter.
