I havn’t read this whole thing, but I saw that you’ve only linked to w.bloggar and BlogJet. Have you tried Blog Writer from Zoundry? I think that one is freeware too.

I found blogjet to blog down my box. When I edited an existing blogger post it reformatted text I had not touched. It was painful to have to reformat. I then tried another round with bj ( not blow job ) and it modified the unedited text again. ARGHHHH !!!!
When I tried to quit the program the first display that asks if you want to buy, try, register would never die.
I had to run the hideous M$ taskmanager to kill the process.
Maybe I’ll start using my Slackware box for stuff like this and find an open source app that works.
